This is a puppet workshop in Calle Guardia in El Raval in Barcelona. There are many little workshops just like these dotted all over the place and this one was quite charming.

This rather cool hire scooter was spotted in El Raval in Calle Guardia. It looks like the place has shut down now but they had some great scooters outide for hire all dolled up like a Barbie doll!

A rather nice wall relief in El Raval neighbourhood in Barcelona. This one’s in Calle Guardia on the corner with Nou de la Rambla. Barcelona is dotted about with these reliefs and some of them are quite unique.

This is Barcelona’s Rent a bike scheme called “bicing”. On the whole it’s not a bad idea but a lot of people seem to be giving it up as a bad job due to the number of useless bikes amongst other things.

I spotted this Barcelona street performer on Las Ramblas. He was dressed as a fantasy figure and moved a crystal ball around his arm and hand with great ease. Barcelona is full of these street performers on Las Ramblas and this one is probably one of the better ones.

This was early one morning on Las Ramblas near the Liceu theatre. A group of happy tourists had just arrived in Barcelona and were making their way to their hotel.
